Can you drink reishi?

When used orally, Reishi mushroom extract is likely safe for up to a year. When taken for up to 16 weeks, powdered whole reishi mushroom may be safe.

Who should not eat reishi mushrooms?

Reishi should be avoided by pregnant and nursing women, persons with low blood pressure or certain bleeding problems, and those undergoing surgery. People who take certain medications (such as anticoagulants and chemotherapy treatments) should consult their doctor before taking reishi.
